Although it was VERY boring; I mean, at sometimes I wondered why I was still reading it. There was a lot of cool stuff in it! Seriously, the story of Beren and Luthien would be a movie in itself; Feanor and his sons were just plain TWISTED. In one of them this guy was seperated from his sister when they were really little while they were fleeing from Orcs, and she lost her memory and the guy went into the forest and met up with other Elves. And then a couple of years later his sister appears in his city and he doesn't know it's her and he falls in love with her. There is some real crazy stuff in here.

lol Silmarillion is very challenging. But it clarifies a heck of a lot in the books.

I love The Silmarillion! It gives you the tale of Middle Earth and how it began and all that stuff...lol.

Yes, I really liked it in that sense, being educated in Middle Earth Knowledge and so forth...but i'm sorry but some of it was SO STINKIN BORING!!!!!!!!! Especially the first bits. I had no idea what was going on, I read a sentence, and right after I forgot every word which is really weird for me. I have like a college reading level, I mean I understood it, but it was hard to take it all in. I am planning to read it again though, after I finish book of Lost Tales one and two...anyway i'm probably boring you with my rambling
