"May he rot in the Void!" I muttered under my breath, cursing Renard. "Very well then. We are both noble women. Let us settle this in such a fashion. A formal duel."

Elensar paled slightly. "Surely there is another way to settle this?" She hadn't expected this, and this Anira unerved her.

Her reaction was not lost upon me. "One does not go pointing blades at others without expecting some sort of reaction, m'lady," I sneered.

"I suppose there is not any other way to settle this. To the death?"

"But of course," I replied. I backed away from her and leaned back to pick up my blade, not taking my eyes of her once, "May I know the name of my victim?" I cut an arch in the air and stepped into 'en garde' pose.

"I am Elensar Itarilde, lately of Lorien. If you kill me, note IF, I have many powerful friends, who will in turn hunt you down."

"Ah, thank you for the warning," I replied humorously and waited for her attack.

Elensar started forward, sword held high, as she neared her apponent, she lowered it into an expert swing toward Anira's neck.

I deflected the blow and swung at her legs with blurring speed. "How long did it take you to get to Gondor?" I asked, my voice betraying none of the adrenaline pumping through my veins.

Blocking the blow she replied. "A fortnight. how did you get into this profession?" She then backed up a few paces, "Someone like you shouldn't be like this."

"Necessity, I prefer murder to prostitution," I lunged at her neck, managing to nick her, only lightly, barely missing her jugular vein. "Bloody..." I muttered

Elensar put her hand to her neck. Not a large wound, bot it hurt just the same. They were so evenly matched that they tired at the same rate. This fight was senseless.

I tapped her blade again, "Bad form, dear girl, bad form. Keep your sword up." I grinned impishly. We were evenly matched, but I knew several underhanded tricks. But I would wait and observe the woman's skills. Perhaps I would pick up a new technique from the Last Homely House.

(OOC: i'm from lorien, *grins impishly*)
With her quick elven reflexes Elensar sheathed her sword and flipped out her two mithril knives. She slowly took a few steps towards her opponent and began to circle her. She would not let this half-breed defeat her.

(OOC: Yet you serve Elrond???)
BIC: I repressed a grin. This was going to be quite fun. "Your move," I kept my blade up, waiting for her attack.
